Modify Hybrid hop rubber

Any using one of the Modify Hybrid barrel and hop rubber combo's?, just fitted to my TM SCAR with a maple leaf hop tensioner and its now over hopping. Even fully hop off, .25 bb's are travelling 15 metres at the most. Do these rubbers have a larger than normal contact patch? must they been used with a standard hop nub rather than the flat tensioner?
