Help identifying barrel

Hi all, I recently purchase an ics ak74 from here and when I got it and tested it I noticed it had a serous lack of power. Turns out the cause was an odd shaped barrel. It has a flat top so the hope doesn't seal. Has anyone seen this before or know what gun it's made for? I have no idea what it was doing in the gun... It has been sawed down to fit the Ak it's original size we worked out to be around the size of an m16 barrel it's a madbul 6.03
