Help removing front sight and upper hand guard from LCT TX-MIG

Hey guys,

I got a used LCT TX-MIG from a friend for $100. The gun is butt-ugly, but hey, for that price.

I'm trying to remove the RAS and install a wood hand guard. Lower hand guard is no problem, but in order to install the upper hand guard I'll have to remove the gas tube and front sight. I can't for the love of god get that thing off. I've hit the pins with all I got, but they didn't budge. :cuss:

Also which folding stock can I attach to that gun? I've tried a Galil stock from my CYMA, but it doesn't fit. The TX-MIG stock is only fixed with one screw from the top.
