Collet seal- VFC 416 hop up

Hi guys,

I took my hop up apart to check the condition of the bucking, having spent nearly two hours trying to get the nub back in, after I had re-assembled I noticed I had a cylindrical ring of rubber which I believe is the collet seal, my question is, where exactly does this go?
