ICS MP5 A4 replacements

Hey, i heard that there a certain parts internally that should be replaced in an ics mp5 in order to keep it in working condition for longer. Could anyone give me some of the things that should be replaced? for instances is it true that the spring guide is plastic and should be replaced with a metal one? If so what one?
