Army R17 GBB mag seal problem & solution
13 April, 2013, 16:53
Had an Army R17 TM Glock clone for a while but never really used it due to unreliability, gas inefficiency & no lock back on empty. Done various things to try and make it shoot reliably;
1, Bought TM mags when the Army one's baseplate screw failed (POW!) - solves leaky mag problem
2, Got an AIP BBU to reduce weight and improve seal
3, Guarder mag catch
4, Glued a tiny piece of 0.3mm thick plastic sheet to the mag catch
Of all these the last one (cheapest) seems to have had the most effect. Gun fires crisply and locks back on empty.
