How to Modify marushin old anaconda revolver to accept new x-cartridges
17 July, 2014, 20:05
Not sure how many other marushin revolvers this applies to. But if you want to use new more realistic 44 magnum x cartridges in your older anaconda it's possible.
All that needs to be done is to hammer out the metal inserts in each chamber of the revolvers cylinder and bobs your uncle. No other changes need to be done. I did this on a non x cart anaconda. Best way is to find something that just fits in the front end of the cylinder...a AAA battery works well. Use it to hammer out one of the inserts.. Takes a fair bit of hammering as they glued in tight.
Repeat for the other 5 either using the AAA battery if it survived or used the insert that's been removed
