Receiver Threads?

Hello,

Was wondering if any of you know if the Madbull Daniel Defence MK18 RIS II Barrel Nut for G&P's will fit on my WE M4?
I understand that the receiver threads on the WE are to real steel specs but I have also heard the WE and G&P's have the same threads?
Really want to mount a socom gear/madbull MK18 RIS II on the gun.
