Filing inner barrel for a Dan wesson revolver
14 August, 2012, 20:25
Hi guys any help on this matter would be greatly appreiated
Im thinking about modifying an inner barrel to fit into a Dan wesson revolver - this would allow me to create a proper 'fixed hop' to the revolver (internet search dan wesson hop mod and youll see what im trying to acheive)
To do so i need to file the outter section of an inner barrel by a fraction of a mm so that a spring can connect around it. theres also a second metal section which requires widening. Iv attepted to do so with a hand file but its impossible i need someone with proper machine tools or engineering background who can do a proper job with the proper tools.
Anyone know of any such person who i could talk to regarding this problem? Please let me know as this may be the difference between selling my revolver or keeping it
Thank you...please pm me your responses as i dont visit the site enough to keep checking this thread
