CA MP5A2 B&T rail issue

I have a CA B&T MP5. My plan was to install a Ris/RAS on the front. However now my rail has arrived it won't fit. The front end of the outer barrel is thicker than that on the Marui version, and also the wings on the outer barrel near the hopup are also in the way. Has anyone successfully modded a B&T to fit a rail. I'm wondering weather or not to have a go at it myself, but with only a dremel it don't think i have the horsepower to grind the parts down.
