G&P M4 Receiver Material????
30 November, 2014, 12:37
Hi chaps,
I'm hoping someone here has some knowledge on what material a G&P body is made of.
Reason being is that I would like to have the body Hard Anodised like a real m4 receiver.
Yes I could just get it Cerakoted, but that's not quite accurate.
I could also just buy a Guarder receiver as that is already hard anodised, but you cant separate the upper like a G&P as the Guarder is like the old TM's and the gearbox is attached to the upper. You would have to strip the whole lot apart just to change the upper as I want to run two uppers for this build.
I have also emailed G&P weeks ago with no reply.
If nobody has an idea the only other option I have is to get hold of a f**ked body and get the company to try it. But that would be £40 wasted on the anodising if it fails.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Many thanks
