SVD stock on AKMS

just before i attempt to get hold of one to put on my Cyma AKMS (like the plastic JG one or what ever I can find) is there anything i should know in terms of actually attaching it?

from what I've managed to find so far is its literally replacing the pistol grip so it shouldn't be a problem.

On a side note, I've also started looking at building my own stock due to lack of available replacement stocks/etc. kinda leaning towards making my own based around the JG one :P

any tips/etc I am very thankful for.
