Any one with Pneumatic design knowledge...
29 December, 2010, 20:13
Hey all
Trying to design a pneumatic system based around a small bore, long stroke cylinder. while I can find suitable cylinder the correct size, I have no idea what drive equipment I would need. I was thinking I could use a CO2 caplet for the air supply, ideally I would like a electro-pneumatic design with a push button to extend the actuator and another to retract, but have no idea what actual parts I need.
So far I figure the list would be:
- Suitable actuator, have been looking at a 30mm bore with a 200mm stroke length
- CO2 caplet and attachment to tubes
- Regulator for CO2 caplet (Would this be needed?)
- Electronic directional control valve
Would it be possible to do this all pneumatically so a battery is not needed for the directional control valve.
I figure this is a fairly basic system, just never done anything like this and have no idea what parts are best or needed!
Later daze
