Fitting a tracer to a swordfish kit!?

I want to fit a tracer silencer (14mm CCW thread) to my swordfish mp5.

I want it to be removable as well though.

I have an adapter for a pistol that would bring the thread to 10mm and am wondering should i get the swordfish kit cut and threaded to 10mm around the barrel?

My friend says a barrel extension is the way to do it... but surely if I remove the silencer the barrel extension will still be obvious?

Any other ideas?

(before you all say it - i know its a bit mad and hop up would have been a better idea but ive bought it now so unless people tell me its impossible then i will sell it and buy the hop unit...)
