L96 Fireing Problem?
5 March, 2012, 22:05
I have just recently changed my piston and spring for my DE L96 and now when i pull the bolt its very stiff and the BB loads but just roll's out of the barrel.
Any idea what may be causing this?

Re: L96 Fireing Problem?
The stiff pull will be the spring. What Spring did you put in there?
The bb rolling out is most likely the piston not having a decent seal on the cylinder, did you put any grease in and around the piston head to help get a better seal?

I used a M150 Spring - L96
Didn't use any grease though what type would be the best if theres any types of grease.

Re: L96 Fireing Problem?
A 150 spring will be considerable tougher to pull back over the stock spring.
Ideally you need some silicon spray grease inside cylinder and a small about of normal silicon based grease on the outside of the cylinder.
Bbs dropping out should have nothing to do with piston or spring change.
Assume the cylinder head is completely screwed on tight?
Have you tried a disassemble and re-assemble just in case?
