L96 type Trigger mech box help needed
24 June, 2012, 18:09
Hi all, My asg 308 L95 type rifle has developed a fault that I strongly suspect to be trigger mech box related.
The rifle was okay until as you do pulled back the bolt to engage the pin, but nothing, the bolt would not engage the sear bolt, and therefore the rifle could not be charged ready to fire.
I carefully took the mech box off and opened the box, of course the sear springs came away, but there was nothing that a layman like myself could see that was wrong. However, try as I might to get the sear springs back into the proper position, is proving to be so stressful........!!
I can only think it may be the sear pin springs that have come loose to cause this fault, however it doesn't help matters that I can't get them back .LOL
Does anyone have any ideas regarding these mech boxes, if so any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
I have placed pictures here if it helps
