  • Asg steyr ssg 669 p2 sniper rifle...VSR compatible?

Well, I am about to do some servicing for a client on his asg steyr ssg 669 p2...
he wants a high fps spring adding, so I suggested internal upgrades to strengthen the rifle and prolong it's life...
But I can't find an image anywhere showing it's internals!

This is the RS rifle, it's the best image I can really find.

I can only guess by the shape that it is a VSR style rifle internally... can anyone verify this?

    Much appreciated!

It uses the same spring as a VSR and the piston is the same as an APS2, that's all I managed to find in a quick search in Google. :P

Yeah, I think it's gonna be an "open her up first" job.
Thanks for your input, I can now purchase that spring.

Most curious about the trigger assembly? I have found the Army Force Trigger Assembly for VSR-10 to be a VERY close match, but it is a little bit of a different shape... the P2's trigger assembly is a cross between the VSR and the L96 UTG box style... it's chunky, yet long.
