bolt action down grade

hi all

i have a w700 that fires at about 400 - 410 fps that i'm slowing turning into a seft build enfeild no4 and i'm thinking about down grading the fps to about 320fps. i know by cutting the spring lows the fps but is there a ruff line of how much would take so much of the fps, and is there anything i have to do to the gun aswell

its all a bit of trial and error,its not a long job to do so just try a coil at a time and then test.and most important is to post up pictures of the no4 as soon as possible.

will do dadio on gun picture, but atm it's just aload of bits and a wood
