TM VSR Spring Which Way Onto The Spring Guide?

Hi there I recently dissembled my tm vsr's cylinder to clean it for tomorrows game

All internals are ASPUK including the spring

However I forgot which end goes onto the spring guide, am I right in thinking the end where the coils are closer together goes on to the spring guide?

Can someone please let me know which end of the spring left or right goes onto the spring guide, thanks

coils tightest together go at the base of spring guide.
