VSR - Cylinder thread
17 May, 2014, 19:35
Hello
Seems the Cylinder head on my VSR G-Spec is too small for the cylinder?
If i cock the gun, the cylinder head stays in the gun, and the bolt dis attached from the cylinder head?
The threads dont look bad - theyre not stripped, but i can press the cylinder head onto the cylinder most of the way - so the head doesnt do up very tight (and when you cock it, it comes off)
Any ideas how i can rescue the cylinder?
Would epoxy resin hold it together or some sort of liquid metal / thread restore?
Thanks

Re: VSR - Cylinder thread
No, you're going to need a new cylinder head in the first instance. Then, possibly a new cylinder.
