Aerosol Grease Pro/Cons?
4 June, 2014, 14:36
I'm able to get through work some white lithium grease in an aerosol can. I was wondering if anyone here has used an aerosol version before over a standard "pot" and if so what pro or cons they have come across. Does it last as long, is it easier to work with etc... The actual product is Rust-oleum X1 1617 White Grease Spray. Being a decent brand i'm hoping it will do a good job as i can get hold of it readily.
I will be using it firstly on my bolt/cylinder for my L96 but am considering using it on a version 2 rebuild if the response is positive.

Re: Aerosol Grease Pro/Cons?
yer I have used it, its nice and thick but the nozzle puts it down all over the shop. + you want to avoid getting it anywhere near any seals.
which is difficult as it comes out like a blind man pissing off a cliff on a windy day..
