the stock cylinder will run fine well over 500fps.
but as said the teflon cylinder will give a smoother pull.
also i would get the accuracy parts first if your tight on money and fit these first, adding extra fps is just going to show any inaccuracys the rifle has.
you may alsowant to look at getting a new hoprubber, maby the laylax or fire fly hard

        400FPS? Is that necessary?

I dont want to mess about with the hop up unit, Infact, Any parts of the rifle.

If its absolutly necessary I'll get one

Guys, Sorry I cant edit and for flooding this page with questions.

If this idea of bringing sniper FPS levels down to the same as AEGs, What spring would I need for 350fps?

Will I need any new sears etc for a 350 FPS sniper?

          Cheers

            No, not at all!

TM VSR will work fine up to 400 stock, after that it'll need re-enforced guts.

Have you actually read this guide, or just asking questions?

                It's on page one.

This may have already been covered above but I need some help.

I have a TM VSR G-spec, fully upgraded from Zeroone. I have only skirmished twice with it and cleaned the barrell after each but the ting never really fires straight. I get maybe 50% straight'ish and the rest either curve right or left. I use Mad Bukk 0.4g bb's.

How can I improve accuracy and stop the bb's curving off? How should I clean the barrell? Should I replace the bucking (using standard VSR at 500fps)?

I expect the hop up needs to bed in?

                                could be many things

                                dirty barrel ,
                                worped barrel
                                dirty ammo
                                torn hop rubber
                                hop rubber put in wrongly
too much hop applied to one side

mainly clean the barrel and take hop unit apart and clean with cloth , rebuild making sure hop is in the centre of the slit in the barrel
