Re: Filling a stock full of foam

I used an old cotton t shirt. I also cut some the t shirt and wrapped it around the inner barrel between the hop and the end cap followed by wrapping with electrical tape. This greatly reduced the sound and in a way made an extra long barrel spacer.

a friend of mine has the pro sniper without recoil thing and he has filled the stock with warhammer foam, not too dense and it works a treat, very quiet rifle..

Re: Filling a stock full of foam

        old thread :/

but since i last posted i have filled an l96 stock with expandable foam and had no issues, lowered sound minutely but steadied the rifle more mainly due to weight

i also filled a vsr gpsec stock with sawdust which minutely again affected sound but it took away alot of the vibration and shock so was better for accuracy etc
