Tm l96 hop up

[RPK for president.]

Just recieved a 2nd hand l96 tm. I am using .25g bbs and dont have quite enough hop up. I go to change it but there is a lot of resistance and dont want to break it. Is it supposed to go any further? Im confused. Thanks

what range are you trying to hit,

the stock rifle wont hit further then 45-50m

also what fps are you running it at, stock or you upgrading it

At the moment it is stock. However i thought that i would be able to put more hop up even if it isnt increasing range. Or I am just wrong? Also as my site has rules for all guns <330fps, what would you suggest, barrel and spring? thanks

nothing internal wise mate,
maybe a new Fire fly soft rubber as the TM vsr ones fit it,

few barrel spacers, and maybe use a bigger hop nub use a biro piece as they work brilliant
using one in my l96 and works great,

stock fps is 303 on.2 and getting nice range on .3s

You have a stock tm l96? .2s are working well but if there is wind it will be a problem... still day i think i will use .2 but slighlty windy days will use .25g i think. I can afford to lose a bit of accurcay if i get a bit more distance...

yeah a nice tm l96 mate,

i use .3s mate, as will be near perfect shots

but in process of upgrading and tweaking the rifle
