Won't be a problem unless it's a deep cut internally

Re: VSR-10 piston, spring, cylinder area
my laylax one didn't
put up a picture of the damage and iel tell you if its unusable, as long as it screws in fine without cross threading then it should be fine unless the nozzle is damaged (holes or crushed)

The nozzle is faintly scratched from when I tried to use some tool on it (I'm 16 btw :facepalm
Lots of scratches on the rim (tuchin the cylinder) of the head were the vice and another tool has been used
Nothing serious but can put buyers off if I'm gonna sell it
Seen the Allen key way of opening it
But I just can't do it
Can someone say how to do it and I'll say if I did it right
Thanks

Re: VSR-10 piston, spring, cylinder area
NONONO! Don't get the laylax hop unit, 1) you can't get the hop rubber for it on it's own, you have to buy a whole new unit, which may be a problem once it is worn down, 2) you can use a standard aeg barrel with it, but why would you want to do that? The laylax/pdi barrels are of better quality.
It doesn't matter if the nozzle is damaged, it's only aesthetic damage, shouldn't have any effect to the performance, although possible gives less air-seal when engaging with the rubber?
I also have some spare 90degree piston ends if you want them, though why would you want it? The laylax zero trigger comes with a 90degree piston...
And badas, possibly it is a two tone, which has been gifted too him? Though i somehow doubt you would have a two toned vsr, and be looking to upgrade it with a pretty high expense... hehe.
