cutting mauser l96 spring? ADVICE NEEDED!
1 March, 2011, 14:35
Hi guys, and guess what?
My local site do not allow any snipers to be above 350FPS.
Cant find a spring here, so id thought id ask you all...
How much do i need to cut off from the stock spring to lower it to 350?
Thanks
Ell.

Whats it currently firing at?
Problem is if its about 450 fps now and you have to cut a considerable ammount off then the spring will become useless as it will be too short
I would just try one coil personally but be prepared to have to buy a new spring due to it may end up being too short to properly function.

as above, its only rough guess but expect 10fps per coil. easier to just buy a new spring if you can get 1
