which barrel?

Howdy, im starting out sniping and want to get the edgi 6.01 barrel but i have been told by others that a systema tight bor would be better.

It will be going into a bar-10 with stock hop-up but a firefly hard hop rubber plus other upgrades and shoots 500fps give or take 5 fps

Any ideas?

Then you won't be able to fit either lol

the bar-10 /vsr has specific hop units so the notches are different on the barrel

plus look on the tech section mate for single action

there is a hugh thread about upgrading the vsr- series
read it carefully as gives alot of info

If your gun shoots consistently between 495-505fps a 6.01 barrel will likely up the velocity to the point where it is consistently over the limit.

A Thought then. Which hop up should i get and if i had the correct hop-up which barrel would you use?????

Use the stock hop chamber but use a nineball hop rubber, it will take quite a few shots for it to settle in but once its settled it will be great.

Then use a laylax 6.03 tightbore barrel (there are only two options for the VSR and should be in stock on zeroins website, get whatever size you want but if you can get the longer version).

Then get all laylax cylinder internals, PDI are ok but expensive. And get appropriate sears.

Wrong btw Edgi barrels do fit the BAR 10 as i have one now

Edgi barrel over PDI barrel over Laylax barrel in my opinion. They're all great though!
