PDI VSR vs TM L96 springs
30 July, 2011, 16:53
Hello,
Having recently purchased a raven cylinder set for my vsr I am in need of an 11mm inner diameter spring to fit over the 9mm spring guide. I've noticed that PDI do separate springs for the TM VSR and L96 even though the length of spring is the same approximate length of 200mm and the diameter dimensions are the same (13/11mm).
Is there a specific reason as to why they are specifically for each rifle? Something to do with the way an L96 cocks and loads a round?
I'm basically asking if there is a good enough reason as to why I should spend the extra £7 getting a VSR spring rather than the L96 one.
Cheers.
