l96 hop up nub missing

hi guys i just got this warrior l96 the hop up works fine but i stripped it down to check rubber and it needs one but to my surprise the hop up adjusting arm which should go to a nub there is no nub but on the arm at the end that sits on the rubber it dose have fang like end but it is eating in to the rubber can any one tell me is this normal for the warrior l96 hopup cos i was gonna put a h nub in but cant cos of leaves i will get pics if it helps unless u know wat i mean any help is great

So what your saying is the two prongs on the hop lever are piercing the hop rubber?

Its normal, they dont have nubs, the 2 fangs apply the hop
