  • Why does my TM VSR-10 not cock back properly

Basically this is a brand new TM VSR-10, i tried to use it for the first time on Sat, all i have done to it is change the spring from a standard tm one to a Laylax one thats giving about 330fps. Nothing else has been changed.

I have to make sure i cock it back carefully otherwise it does not lock back in position, the 2 videos below should demonstate the problem hopefully, just wondering what could be causing this.

Check your sears. That's all I can think of. Sorry if it's no help.

Surely this was answered in the last thread?

Anyway, check the teflon rings that sit in the receiver, they may be out of line causing the bolt to not align properly with the hop chamber at the far end. They should sit flush into the receiver ends, one at each end, one also has a gap in it. Check those and if that doesn't do it then do a full strip of the receiver and bolt and put it back together. After that I'm not sure.

Hello mate - this sounds like the cylinder has become misaligned with the hop chamber, i've had this problem before, If not that make sure your spring catch hasnt come loose because this can sometimes cause this to happen. See if you can sort it using advice from mine and the previous posts, if not PM me mate.
