I know this is three years old but I just got an m56b and took it apart. I'm having trouble with the same four plastic pieces but I did figure one of them out. Also, I have no idea where the metal rectangle with the circles cut out of two corners goes. Any help is much appreciated.

Ooooh crumbs, this was a LONG time ago...i think (and dont quote me on this) tha the bit of metal your talking about has a screw thread in the middle (center whole) and this is what the screw that holds the pistol grip screws into...best of luck mate, thats the most help I can give you.

Carabinieri: Obv I normally fit all my guns with global satellite tracking systems to make sure I know who owns them...forgot with this one :s ... but I imagine its traded hands a few times since I sold it 2 YEARS ago! But dont worry about it, easy mistake to make!
