Upgrading the Mauser sr(warrior) L96

ok so the hop is on Lowest and my scope is Zeroed in highest but it is still firing a bit high, im guessing i will need a new hopup ?

thinking of a PDI one when i get the cash. and Maby a tighbore Barrel to help it be more Accurate what do you guys think?

i was using .20's but ordered some .30's in hope it will help

new to sniper so any help would be great thanks

want to add its firing at around 420- 450 Fps (poor mans chrono) going to sisters tomorrow she has a chrono....

The hop is completely off and it's still firing upwards? If so use heavier ammo. Usually these stock hop unit can take upto a 0.3g bb, maybe 0.36 at a push.

Usually you have to pack out the hop rubber to lift heavier bbs.

Your doing the right think by buying heavier bbs in the first instance to see how you get on.

You shouldn't be using 0.2g BBs with a 400+fps sniper rifle anyway. At least not for anything other than the chrono.
Use 0.3g at least. You'll get lower fps (though remember chrono limits are ALWAYS with 0.2g BBs), but better accuracy, and the zeroing will be easier.
