L96 PDI Extra Hop

Hi everyone
Wondering if someone could help me to get more hop on my L96.
Iv got the PDI hop unit with Fire Fly rubber. Screws are as far out as they will go, might even take them out.
Goes past the 60 meter marker but then drops off, doesn't seem to have that hop kick effect at all before it drops.

New long hop arms? Forgot the specific name for them.

Yes - I should be getting a PDI hop and barrel this weekend though so will let you know how it goes and what mods I do to it after if any.

Couldnt I try and put something between the nub and the bar, it would have the same effect wouldn't it?

thats what i was thinking of doing but wasn't 100% sure on how the PDI worked again but yes, i thought it was a bar it pressed on so make it thicker / smother it in a coating of glue maybe but its making it smooth and even that will be the challenge.

Yea suppose so, if not you'd get inconsistently hop and accuracy.
I would get the high bars if I could find an English seller.

Tried taking the grub screws out today but wayyyyy to much hop was on after that, need to find somewhere inbetween.
Maybe shorter grub screws.

Smaller hop nub but longer, try some of biro tube / the tube you find in cigaret lighters.

Have you got the firefly nub? If not get it and you may find it increases

Cheers didn't know they did a nub as well.
I took it apart and found out that the bar that goes through the arms had slipped out so maybe it will be better now.
Is it the firefly nub flat or something?

I cut a piece of biro tube then cut in half and stuck it to the pdi nub with super glue and now can over hop .4s no probs

I like this, so if I'm right you have halve a biro sitting on top of the original nub, like an extra layer yea?

I think so so the PDI Silicone nub sit's in it and as such forming half a nub and a original one

yep you got it, just makes the pdi nub a little bit thicker
