Would It Be OK?
3 November, 2009, 19:03
For my first skirmish with my gun i wont have some DPM cos i spent my camo money on a battery and spare mag so would black boots, black hoodie and black combats be ok? I'm not sure and don't want to look like a n00b.

Re: Would It Be OK?
It's your first skirmish dude, get out there and have a laugh. Worry about the kit later.
Good to see boots are there though, good ankel support is a must when charging round forests.

Re: Would It Be OK?
Don't worry about looking like a noob - we all had our first ever skirmish, right...
Not all of us had the necessary kit.
Think it will look fine.

Re: Would It Be OK?
I actually find black to be pretty effective in woodland games. When you're stationary, DPM etc helps, but while you're moving black seems to be almost as good.

Re: Would It Be OK?
I know a fair few old hands that never wear camo, just random stuff like normal primark fasion cargo pants and t-shirts. My view? wear whatever you are confortable in, if it does bother you though some sites rent out coveralls to use. I cant see anything wrong with a 'tactical hoody' though.:D

Re: Would It Be OK?
yeah buddy dont fork out for the gear then decide that its not your thing get into game few times then let all the gear flow . and then you will end up with a bedroom/garage/shed with so much gear your neighbours will think your plotting a revolution

Re: Would It Be OK?
a load of us at my local normaly wear dpm but u get so used to looking for it some of the lads have had people walking straight past in jeans and hoody and not even noticed them.
and as said above have fun.
lots of people seem so into spending on gear and rifs etc i think sometimes they forget the basic fun of it.
if u can do a good job in hoody and jeans u will only be hidden better in dpms .
