12 March, 2012, 19:00
Hi
Very soon i will be looking into getting an L96 but im just not sure which one to get.
The only problem is i have a maximum budget of around £150.
What im wanting to know is which manufacturer should i go for and why.
Also what scop should i get to go with it?

Well warrior l96. £144 from a world of airsoft. Theyre pretty good for the cost, i have one. Also has a removable fps reducer to switch between 290fps and 450fps.

Re: Which L96
that looks great but the only problem is at £144 it is right near the top of my budget so a scope would be almost out of the question.

UTG Mk.96
It's a Maruzen clone so there's loads of upgrades and modifications you can do/get for it.

Re: Which L96
all those sound great guys but after thinking it over a bit more i would prefer somthing of a higher quality but dont mind second hand.
how much do you think i can get a stock tm l96, a stock G&G g96 or a maruzen l96 for second hand?

Re: Which L96
I think you should just go for the UTG Mk.96.
I'm pretty sure you can get it with a scope and bipod package within your budget.
You can make your own full-length paper barrel spacer and do other modifications to improve it's performance with little cost.
The G&G L96 is gas powered, you wouldn't want that. Too much hassle and things to go wrong, more to maintain etc.
The Tokyo Marui L96 AWS is very good too, if you can find one second-hand for within your price range, it should be a good buy!

Re: Which L96
If it must be an L96 opt for Well or Warrior.
Cheap and plenty of upgrades when you can afford it!
