ASG (possibly KJW) Ruger Mk1 sniper
20 March, 2012, 20:34
Any feedback on these? Specifically do they work as a sniper? They are 450fps but is the hop adjustable and can they handle heavier BBs?

Re: ASG (possibly KJW) Ruger Mk1 sniper
I have a Ruger MK1 pistol and they are a very nice gun. They are quite powerful so you need to be careful what gas you use, even the short version can reach 450fps on green gas. The hop is indeed adjustable via a small hole on top of the barrel (use a small allen key). The pistol is very light and the mags are very gas efficient since its NBB. The mags to have a tendancy to spill out bb's though as there isn't a lot to hold them in place. I think as a sniper its a very cheap price for a very powerfull gun that will certainly outshoot most pistols and CQB weapons. Against full auto AEG's, like any gas rifle, the extra 100fps rarely makes up for semi-auto only.
