    What type of battery's will fit in the src gen 3 g36c ? Sorry for many posts but I am a total newbie and I'm just getting as much info as I can

    normally in G36c's, you put a mini battery in the front handguard.

        yeah!
        most woodland sites use G36c's (in my area) as hire guns as they have good range, are different to m4's and have hi cap mags.
        if you are worried about the range, put a longer barrel in it and use a silencer to cover it up where it comes out of the gun.
        also, if you decided to go CQC, because of the folding stock you get the best of both worlds!

          i used to use a 9.6v 1300mah in mine. the gun also runs better on one in my opinion and because they a well built on the inside no matter what some people say, they can easily take a 9.6v and i would advise one rather than a 8.4v. also it is epic in woodland short, deadly and light weight due to it being mad of a nylon fibre composite.
