Re: help with my headset and radios please
This style of headset done by Z TACTICAL is fairly popular amongst Airsofters who make use of team communication. With a single padded earpiece (left side)it leaves the other side clear for environmental observation and even the covered side is well vented enough to hear through it when not in use.
Adjustable, elasticized straps cover over the head; one behind the head, one across the forehead and one band over the head. The result is a secure but flat-packed set of straps that can be worn under a helmet or over a baseball cap. There are particular military style helmets with ear slots to accommodate such a headset and the straps can easily be worn under or over a baseball cap if tuned right. Of course, you can just throw it over your head as is for that spec ops / mercenary look.
The microphone sits on a highly repositionable boom rod which means you can adjust it to your face very quickly or tuck it away when out of use; also handing for packing it up as you can bend it around on itself to tuck it into a sort of parcel.
Note that this is literally just the headset; this works in conjunction with a Z Tactical PTT button module (not included) and a radio (not included) to form a functioning comms setup. Of course that does not account for the fact that your team mates need that too otherwise you will just be talking to yourself.
There are a variety of different models and colors around the website and with PTT modules you have to make sure you pick the right plug type for the radio you intend to use. That said, do make sure you whip around the site and are sure you have found the right equipment to suit your tastes and needs.
I have one and to be honest its not amazing but you get your moneys worth. I replaced the head strap for my old Devgru one which i now discontinued and the ear piece is not the softest plastic compared to the devgru's but at the end they are pretty much the only ones around.
I use a PTT Two pin that works with my ICOMS, so like said before if you have the right PTT they will work with ANY radio.

Right 2 pin fits these:
--ICOM with 2-Pin Plug (IC-F3/IC-F3G/IC-F3GS/IC-F4/IC-F4GS/IC-F4S/IC-F11/IC-F21/IC-F31/IC-H2/IC-H6/IC-J12/IC-M5/IC-U12/IC-U16/IC-A5(Yaesu CT-44 Connector)/IC-Q7(Yaesu CT-44 Connector) ...
HX-24/HX-32/HX-482/HX581/HX583/C150/C450/C460... etc)
--Yaesu / Vertex FT-10R, FT-40R, FT-50R, FT-60R, VX-10, VX-110, VX-130, VX-131, VX-132, VX150, VX-160, VX-180, VX-210, VX-210A, VX-300, VX-350, VX-354, VX-400, VX-410, VX-420, VXF-1, VXT-10, VXT-20, VX-1R, VX-2R, VX-3R, VX-5R;
--Motorola with 2-Pin Plug (CLS1110, CLS1410, CLS1413, CLS1450, CLS1450C, CP88, CP100, CP150, CP200, CT150, CT250, CT450, CT450LS, ECP100, GP68, GP88, GP88S, GP300, GP308, GP350, GP2000, GT1, GTX, LTS2000, P040, P080, P100, P110, P200, P1225, P1225LS, PMR446, PR400, PRO1150, PRO2150, PRO3150, SP10, SP21, SP50, Spirit MU-11C, MU-21CV, MU-22CVS, MU-24CVS, MV-11C, MV-21CV, MV-22CVS, MV-24CVS, XTN446, XTN500, XTN600, VL50, VL130, XV1100, XV2100, XV2600, XU1100, XU2100, XU2600
--Motorola FRS & GMRS (Walkie Talkie & Talkabout)
--Kenwood with 2-Pin Plug (IASUS UHF Transceiver Professional Radio 5W)
Theres probably more around that would fit it but thats what Z tactical claims, like i said I use 2 pin Icoms and they work fine and the end it will work on any radio as long as you have the right PTT, theres loads around, if you google it you will see all the different types.

Re: help with my headset and radios please
Be careful, though, not all 2-pins are the same.
e.g. With the Icom type (often called "standard"), the mic/PTT is on the 2.5mm plug, and the speaker is on the 3.5mm plug. This makes it very easy to plug in any headphone to get the sound out.
However, the Kenwood types have the mic/PTT on the 3.5mm plug, and the speaker on the 2.5mm plug.
IIRC, the pin spacing as a few mm different too to prevent the wrong type being used.

Re: help with my headset and radios please
Put simply, a Motorola single pin will only fit a motorola single pin radio, they use funny sizes to make sure of this. 2 pin radios are a little more complicated, Motorola has its own 2 pin adaption which only fits Motorola 2 pin radios, again it's odd sizes, radios like kenwood, some of the cobras etc use kenwood 2 pin and some of the more specialist PMRs use an ICOM 2 pin, non of them are compatible due to the different sizes.
section 24 of the 1968 Act
Supplying imitation firearms to minors
1)It is an offence for a person under the age of eighteen to purchase an imitation firearm
2)It is an offence to sell an imitation firearm to a person under the age of eighteen.
