tracer units good or bad

hi guys was thinking of putting a tracer unit on my mp5, as my main cqb weapon
good idea what ypoy thought on it and tracer units in general

aside from initial cost of the unit and special ammunition
looks very cool
wont get you any more 'kills' as you're illuminating your rounds not your target
will get u shot more as your illuminated rounds point directly to your position..duh
still looks cool though

they are great,i prefer mine with one than without, i use a ratio of 3-1 so that i dont give my position away too much,and it savesa bit of money,but i can still see where my shots are going, as i use a 3 round burst on my aeg

After using mine at the mall.
I find a tracer is a very useful tool.
Blaster .2g tracers are only £10-12 for a bottle of 3000 now.
It's very easy to correct your aim in the dark when aiming down the sights is difficult.
It's harder for people to deny hits too.
Marshalls pick up on players not calling hits much faster too!
