i have £100 for a pistol to go with my vietnam loadout it can be anything from vietnam period to ww1 anyone got any ideas or any there selling

No-brainer; TM 1911A1. Reliable, robust and accurate pistol with excellent trademarks and aftermarket support. Even better, it boasts a host of upgrade paths for the future.

I'll vouch for the TM 1911A1 as well. Its pretty reliable and it was the standard side arm for US forces in Vietnam (and afterwords until it was replaces by the M9 in the early 1990s).
