WELL R4 MP7 AEP/AEG Good first gun?

Hi, I am looking at the Well R4 as a first gun for CQB in The Mall Reading. I was just wondering if this would be a good choice as it is cheap and apparently shoots the same FPS as the TM version and is about £150 cheaper! Any alternatives (with links) would be appreciated!

Right, FPS is not the most important bit. the difference is while the TM is made of (somewhat) good metal gears ect. The WELL will be made of leaves and what ever fell out of the barrel outside the factory.

So in short. No it wont be a good gun. Get a G&G GR16 as your first gun, or a CYMA AK, or a G&P M4 if your budget reach it.

Even with a defence he wouldn't be able to buy an IF/RIF. A minimum of 18 years of age is the one thing laid out plain as day.

Even with a defence he wouldn't be able to buy an IF/RIF. A minimum of 18 years of age is the one thing laid out plain as day.

Sorry i didnt make it clearer, Thats why i stated he was under 17, that he wont be able to get his defence.
This sort of post just whinds me up as in the past cple of weeks, there has been quite a few under 18's trying to obtain RIF's/IF's by any way possible. I have 2 under 18's that i have got RIF's for being my son and my nephew but i have got the rifles under lock and key, as i am the person with the valid defence and they only get hold of them on game days

Maybe it doesn't register you as an under 18 automatically? I'm sure the mods can manually set it to that so maybe its just a manual setting for those who have tried to break the rules.

You can get 2-Tone Well R4s...

Since you are playing at The Mall (a great site BTW) I would probably advise going for a spring shotgun... Not only are they cheap as chips, but most action at the mall takes place at distances you could be throwing BBs. A shotgun is cheap, requires no batteries, probably won't go wrong unless you snap it and will be more than accurate enough to compete... I can't post links because that's against the rules...
