  • Looking for advice on next gun!

Ok, I'm the kind of person who likes everything planned out. Now, I'm getting an L119A1 soon, but a few months after that, what should I get? I've had (in this order):
    -JG AK47 Beta Spetznaz
    -JG MP5A2
    -Classic Army M15A4 SPC

I'm soon to get the C8, but I want to try something different. I don't know whether I'd like sniping, but I'm willing to try it if you think it would suit me. I tend to enjoy escort and defending missions the most, with assaulting ones the least. I very much enjoy a good recon game though, my favourite part of airsoft is tracking someone through the woods! I don't really want to get a gas rifle though. If you have any suggestions your input would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks!

From what I gather you seem to prefer stealth tactics as oppose to an all out assualt.

I would therefore recommend a nice quiet AEG, an TM M14 springs to mind, with a TM MK23 as backup.

Or, if you like the idea of a sniping route, go for the TM VSR-10 Gspec. One of the quietest rifles to date and very upgradable if you take a fancy to it.

Just throwing out some ideas, hope it helps.

I think everyone gets sick of the assualt/defend games after a while! Alright as a warm-up game though I guess..

Anyway, back on track. You've been playing a while and would like to give Sniping/stalking/marksmanship a go, how about a semi-auto rifle, like a M14? That would be my choice if i was going to take that direction anywho.

Thanks, an M14 sounds like an interesting idea. Do they get tiresome to lug around all day?

It depends how strong yuou are and what you're used to. I myself am 6ft but pretty weedy. However, I am used to lugging around my M99 so an M14 is much easier in comparison.

However if you are used to using an Mp5 or Mp7, it's a step up. It doesn't weigh a ton, but it's not the lightest AEG out there.

maby try the m14 socom? or if your looking for a light gun, vsr gspecs are increadibly light, i personaly enjoy exactly the same as what you described in airsoft, the whole sneaky aproach, and found that a well silenced gspec and a mk23 socom with silencer attached worked a dream, they are both very light, and all you need is a few spare mags, so moving fast and quiet is very easy
PM me if you're looking for S-ARMS M4 mags

AK BETA SPETZNAZ FOR THE WIN!!!!!

i've owned 4... maybe 5, well one was a krinkov.

they be awsome, both the JG and TM versions, i don't like the small mags, other than that they rule, and you know if you search google you'll find a CYMA spetznaz in full metal and a very nice wood kit full stock.

the beta with the underfolding stock is great also, folds up nicely and you can use it as a back up to your sniping, or unfold the stock and it holds up well as a primary AEG. if using it as a back up the mini mags suit it perfectly as they're small, but still pack 250 rds.

as usual, i back the ak option.

                How about an SR-25?

                Or an SL9?

They might still be quite heavy, but theyre good semi-auto snipers too. Good for stalking/recon. Tried it myself with a slightly upgraded A&K SR-25 and it was awesome!

Get head and shoulders ghillie too! Gives you a little bit more camo if youre trying to look over at things without emcumbering you like a full suit.
