Good Sniper rifle & good AEP ;P
25 November, 2009, 18:32
i know i keep putting up threads like this, but i do like to plan out everything, well in advance ^^ last one, promise
in my planning, i have picked out a couple of nice assault rifles, a LMG, a good wwII wep aswell as a shotgun.
the other things i forgot to look up were sniper rifles and AEPs (which i did look up but found nothing that i liked the sound of)
no gas guns :P
what i was thinking of was
ARES - M110
SOCOM gear - M107 (Barrett M82)
RS - Draugunov SVD
Tanaka - M24
UTG - L96
TM - PSG-1
anyone got any of these and are there major flaws or perks from them? or is there a good sniper weapon thats worth having a look at? i'd like to get a £100-500 one inthe coming year and mabye one of the more expensive ones in the future.
also, i was looking for an AEP, as i dont like gas, and the spring pistols are a bit slow for my liking
all i found was the CYMA Desert Eagle and CYMA Glock 18c are they any good, or are there some beter AEPs out there?
sorry for all the posts, and thanks for the help!

You mean as unique as a M4 with a scope?

Surely the TM VSR has to figure? And if you don't like gas guns, why have you listed the Tanaka M24?

On the same note, why list the M107 if your upper limit is £500?
Anyway, I'll throw in another vote for TM's VSR. It depends what you like the look of. There are truckloads of reviews out there (read
more
than one) for you to get a good impression of each rifle.

With any sniper you'll really want to leave room to add your own upgrades. Out of the box, none of them will be near what you can get with some selected tweaks.
On the AEP front, cannot fail to go wrong with the Cyma Glock 18c. Don't be put off by the Cyma name, it is an excellent pistol. Range is very good with some careful hop up setting. I've been down the AEP route, and to be honest I'd go for a gas blow back. More fun, you don't have to charge it, and the price difference is little compared to say a KWA/KSC Glock series.

Re: Good Sniper rifle & good AEP ;P
The L96 on the other shop website is a warrior if I remember rightly, Iv heard mixed bags about them, but no experiance myself with them, Im quite happy with my KJW M700 takedown, works all weather and temperatures on ultra, and found Bell make mags for it. Other than that the VSR is a good option, and all that money you save you could put into upgrades and stuff.

Re: Good Sniper rifle & good AEP ;P
its a tossup between VSR-10 and M110
for pistols ill probably end up with the CYMA Deagle :P
PS any reason this was moved to "new players"?

Re: Good Sniper rifle & good AEP ;P
Is the deagle AEP or gas, if gas, spend a little more and get something like a TM pistol, much superior in quality and still work in the winter. Desert eagles are way to cumbersome to be useful.
