Metal or Plastic?

I'm looking to get my own airsoft rifle and save myself the money of renting or borrowing weapons in the future.

Just curious though if splashing out on a metal body is a better choice. I quite like idea of a metal body since it gives a realistic weight and feel to the weapon, but obviously plastic is the cheaper option

Classic army sportline M4 is a good starter gun, and there metal body, I have one as a back up gun, good range and accurate for a £150 gun.
I.personally would never by a plastic rifle, my mate dropped his ICS Mp5, it was there sportline plastic body and the stock snapped off!
