Help on eye wear
21 May, 2012, 16:58
Had a full face mask with clear goggles, but first time was shot it scratched goggles so it's hard to see out of now. I replaced with mesh glasses but struggled to see through these especially in low light.
Was thinking of getting some ski type goggles with yellow lens but don't want them to get shot once and be scratched and useless.
Anyone have some goggles or glasses that they would reccomend?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Help on eye wear
If a BB actually
scratched
your lens, chances are you're lucky not to be down an eyeball by now. BBs generally don't scratch safety rated acrylic lenses.
I asked a long time ago if ski lenses were suitable and the salesman said 'he didn't think so'.
You'll need to look for appropriate ballistic safety ratings on goggles. My recommendation would be to go for ESS ICE glasses.
