    Reccomend Me A 7.62 Rifle (GBBR?)

    Hi guys,
    I'm gettin the itch once more and so considering 7.62x51 (NATO so everyone's clear) rifles. I need a big scary mans gun that I can still use practically. Looking at the VFC 417 for my backup 'expendable' gun for dossing around skirmishes but would still be interested in a bigger GBBR version to scratch my itch!
    Preferably GBBR but I don't want to pay the Earth like I always seem to...

    Ra-Tech M14 EBR.

    Stick an oversized scope and an M203 on it an you've got a real big scary mans gun!

      Well the only 7.62x51s I can think of in GBBR form are the mentioned VFC HK417 and the WE M14 series, as well as the WE SCAR H when it's released, except maybe some classic airsoft guns.

        Would it be possible to stick a SCAR H inside an AEG SR25 body?
        Ambitious I know but would be great....?

          No, the bolt is a totally different shape :c I'm sure they're have been custom GBBr SR25s though, probably with M16 internals.

            Shame the M16 bolt carrier is too short I think do it wouldn't cycle properly...
            I'm sure that could be remedied by a particularly competent machinist but it would cost a fortune :'(

                  Viper have shown forged receivers for GBBR SR-25s, so those are on the way (not in the near future, though). I agree that a WE/RA-tech M14, EBR or not, is a hell of a gun and easily the best 7.62 NATO GBBR around.

                    CA are bringing out a GBBR SA58 and then there is this video from you tube, but don't know the company, showing a FAL, a true real man,s gun
