Where to hide my stuff?

So the inevitable (apparently) result of me enjoying airsoft as much as I do is the amount of gear I seem to be collecting.

Where's the best place to hide this from the wife?

2) Self storage place
3) Tell her that new gun is one you're fixing up for a mate (then stash it at a later date)

mine are in a filing cabinet in the garage but i could put them anywhere she dont go
cupboard under stairs with hoover and ironing
kitchen cupboards

Have a box of chocolate, bottle of wine and flowers in a "Smash glass in case of emergency" box mounted near where you hide them.

its your hobby mate, surely she has some sort ??
just tell her, she cant be that bad.
if you hide them shes goin to be more anoyed when/if she does find them.
i just put mine in a built in wardrobe or in their box's under the bed but it is starting to fill up a bit now maybe 5 aegs, 1 bar 10 and 2 pistols if a bit much, that said once you start collecting a few and then the camo gear and vests/webbing it does start to take up space so you are better off telling her in my opinion as shes going to find all of it sooner or later.

I'm at Catterick this weekend, have new kit, so she doesn't see it i've booked her on a spa weekend.

just get a cupboard for all your stuff... then just make sure new stuff arrives when she isnt there

after a year or 2 when she finds the cupboard full you can just tell her that youve been collecting it for years

Amatures the lot of you:

option 1

Go on about it constantly till she tunes out and stops listening and activly avoids the subject, it will get to a point were she wont ask if its new just in case it looks like she was not listening and even if she does ask she will accept you got it ages ago off a mate and assume she ignored you when you told her.

option 2

buy her a rif and get her playing then she starts buying guns to and its easy to enthuse about her new gun so she lets you have another.
i work on a 6 to 1 ratio as long as i buy 'her' a gun for when she plays ever 6th time i buy she is happy last time i got her an aep pistol and i bought me 2 gbb glock17's and before any of you start take her on bloody cold days once in a while and say you just want to involve her and spend time with her, through gritted teeth she will claim to be happy and hate every minute and then avoid playing for 18months and ignore you on the subject see option 1.


in combination these options are working for me and have for a few years now. the wife has a thundermaul and a cyma glock 18 aep for gods sake she thinks its ace it sits on a shelf and has been played once!

i have a room full of guns ammo and gear she avoids going into incase i suggest she come out with me in the winter i win.
