magpul stock problam
1 June, 2012, 17:57
hi all i bought a magpul PTS stock yesterday, and i have a problem, it keeps slipping in between positions, say i'd be in position six, if i aimed down my sights and put the stock into my shoulder, it would slip down to position 1 every time. this occurs with every position not just 6, please help.
Thanks
Aaron

What I think has happened is that you have a Real spec stock but your gun has a airsoft spec stock, like a ICS or TM.
Or the other way round.

Re: magpul stock problam
Unless the metal plunger that locks in to the holes under the buffer tube is somehow jammed in the lowered position, then you can't really fit a MOE/CTR/ACS stock 'wrongly'. What might be happening is that said holes in your buffer tube are under-sized so the locking mechanism in the stock isn't engaging in to them correctly. Does the spring-pin that goes horizontally through the metal cylinder that secures the stock in position travel fully upwards to the very top of its' grooves? If it's not going all the way up then your locking mech isn't going fully in to place as it should.
