TM MP7 Or ICS MP5 SD6 ?

So, Basicly, I went to a CQB site today (its was intense!) and I suddenly realised that I dont have a weapon that is suitable for that kind of environment.

I useualy attend outdoor events and use sniper rifles and have a pistol as back-up. So, I need to shoose between these two guns for my next purchase, as a Mid/Short range Primary/secondary weapon.

Reasons for SD6:
Awesome ROF with 9.6v battery
Good CQB and Long range weapon
Looks awesome
Can fit a red dot/Holo sight.

Reasons against SD6:
Cant fit torch (or anything else for CQB)

Reasons for MP7:
Can fit everything needed for CQB (Torch, ect.)
Can fit red dot/Holo sight
Extremely agile and an average ROF
Easy battery change (In game)
standard mag = 50 rounds
Looks awesome

Resons against MP7:
Probably really accuracy poor at 75 ft+ (But then again I snipe....)



These are the only two guns i am considering, so I could go with some advice from either/both an MP7 / SD6 User.

i would go for the mp5 because mp7 parts arent easy to get hold of

Why not get a standard MP5 RIS? Then you can put anything you like on it

personaly id go for the ics mate very good guns. i used my brothers mp5 sd5 for a few games and eventualy had it off of him but before anyone says it yes i know the sd6 has the sliding stock but as ive also used an mp5 with a sliding stock so i can say what it would be like.
most of the people i know that have had an mp7 have somehow killed it very quickly though thats not to say they arent any good as im sure a lot of people on here would rate them as very good.
the best thing to do would be try each of them out.

Why not get a standard MP5 RIS?

I Really would, however, I like weapons with Sliding/Adjustable stocks.


I have heard things about MP7's Dieing .... like all the time, which is also putting me off that....

dont know which makes you are looking at, others will also be good and pehaps more gun for money but ics make very good mp5s they have very strong gears and good wiring and also do sportsline versions of most of their range which as far as i know the only differance is plastic body and a normal motor as the one i have had a high torque motor and metal body but dont quote me on this the differances may be more than just this.
