Glock Compatability
12 July, 2012, 12:38
Hey guys,
Firstly I would like to know glock compatability not between models more between makes. So I have 2 Glocks both KSC. Now I have G18c & G19. The G18c doesn't fire correctly and vents :/ so the question I raise is could I get a TM 18c slide and attach to KSC lower?
Also I am wondering what other make mags fit KSC G19? (KWA?)
Cheers

Re: Glock Compatability
In a nut shell:
KWA and KSC are made in the same moulds in the same factory... different materials, different price.
ASG are KWA with a re-brand.
All three will therefore mix and match.
KJW are the clone of TM. They MOSTLY match, but i believe there are bespoke parts for each.
The two groups will NOT mate parts. Make your mind up which company you are gonna roll with as mags and parts are not interchangeable between the KWA family and the TM family.
Glock 18 mags venting: If you shoot it like a sewing machine the rubber seals get too cold and don't seal, the gas leaks. Short bursts or CO2 mags will reduce this. (also a little squirt of lube will help) The mag could also be venting because the mag catch is not holding firm enough to create a good seal. Apply a LITTLE pressure on the base of the mag and see if this improves things.
Hope this of use.

Re: Glock Compatability
Quite simply no.
If it is a KWA or a KSC then you will need to use KSC or KWA parts. There are not many KSC / KWA clones but i am sure parts can be found for them.
However with TM it must be a TM or one of the many clones for it to swap parts.

Re: Glock Compatability
Look to the far east my friend or buy another mag. If its just a seal issue then remove the valve & soak it in lube for a day & re-install it.

Re: Glock Compatability
on your venting issue, I found out that shimming the mag has helped my glock not to vent.
